Care Package Central (The CPC)

First off, if you feel the inkling to send me a care package I will love you for the rest of my life and swear I'll provide you with a kidney, foot, kid, etc. if you ever need such a thing in the future. Secondly, for instructions on how to send me a care package, please read this post. Thirdly, updates on sending care packages: (1) an easy tip for the cyrillic part of the address--print out the address and paste it on the envelope/box; (2) a large padded envelope can fit a lot of stuff, costs around $20 to send, and arrives fairly quickly.

Here's my addy:

Сара Финеган
вул Кiрова, 8
с. Костянтинiвка
Мелiтопольський Район
Запорізька обл.
Україна            72364
UKRAINE

And the English version for the USPS's peace of mind:
8 Kirova Street
Konstantinovka, Melitopol Rayon
Zaporozhye Oblast 72364
Ukraine

And without further adieu..the list (which is updated frequently so just always assume that i still want what's on this list). Oh, one more adieu. I appreciate any item sent my way; this list is just a very specific guideline if you're having trouble coming up with perfect care package ideas.

Food Section:
  1. sriracha/hot sauce/hot sauce/HOT SAUCE. i've never ever seen a bottle of this magnificent nectar in ukraine, so i rely on you americans to keep my addiction going. i don't discriminate against any variety.
  2. no ramen or soup mix, we have plenty.
  3. brown sugar, rumor has it this product does exist in this country, but it might take an overnight train ride to get my hands on it.
  4. vanilla extract, see # 3.
  5. A1? BBQ? i dunno, i just like flavorful sauces. that's not what she said.
  6. spices: i'm actually good on spices, friends and family have done an excellent job of keeping me stocked
  7. starbucks VIA instant coffee. yeeeesssssss
  8. parmesan cheese. i'm pretty sure the kraft stuff would be able to handle the journey... it did! my uncle sent me some kraft parmesan cheese and it made it here just fine! it also made my life.
  9. American candy! REECES PIECES! some of it actually makes it past my mouth to the Ukrainians who really appreciate it. (p.s. we have kit kats/snickers/skittles here)
  10. Peanut butter. i've come to be a big fan of the stuff here. the old case of "you never knew what you liked until you moved to a country where they don't sell it". i could also use it to barter my way out of a jail sentence
  11. cake mix: funfetti or chocolate
  12. betty crocker/duncan hines/pillsbury frosting in a tub. YES.
  13. Good Seasons Italian dressing packets. the kind where i mix in the water and the oil
  14. Mac n Cheese sauce packets...just take the chemical cheese packet out of the box, put it in a plastic bag, and send that. don't ask questions, just do it. (velveeta, Annie's, or good old Kraft will do the trick)
  15. marshmellows...i don't know why...but this item just popped into my head.
  16. trader joe's anything
"Things you can find at Target" section
  1. i never met a chapstick/lipgloss i didn't like
  2. whitening toothpaste (lots of tea drinking around these parts) or just travel size toothpaste
  3. dry shampoo
  4. jergen's natural glow, medium-tan color
  5. hand sanitizer
  6. Eye makeup remover
  7. Bleach pen: like this
"If you really, really like me" section
  1. magazines/newspapers with good advertisements/pictures in them for teaching different subjects (food, science, culture, etc.) or for my own reading pleasure (harper's bazaar is my fav)
  2. anything from sephora/origins--esp face wash/moisturizer
  3. koshka
